By far the most immaculate jazz DVD of 2004: The Same New Story of the Dutch Buzz Bros Band. The easy-going electric fusion band of guitarist Marnix Busstra and his brother, keyboardist Berthil, converted an old factory into a videogenic concert venue. Director Peter Blom did a great job capturing this passionate performance of the quartet. The brothers Busstra, bassist René Dissel, and drummer Chris Strik play an extremely groovy and tasteful type of fusion. Heartwarming and sincere.
